Hello there, friend,
I think about you knee deep in your community, having an amazing weekend with kindred spirits, and I get so happy. Not only do I want that for myself, but I want that for you. You are amazing and our friendship is so precious. I am grateful for you. But right now life is heavy. I feel the weight of it on me and I'm doing the best I can to be hopeful. You are part of that. Thank you.

And so I will share the first lines of one of my favorite poems, "Song" by Allen Ginsberg:
The weight of the world
     is love.
Under the burden
     of solitude,
under the burden
     of dissatisfaction
     the weight,
the weight we carry
     is love.
