Hello there, friend,
I was listening to something a while ago that was talking about house projects but hit on a bigger truth: use your momentum. Which, of course, we all know. Get on a roll and ride it out. I wrote it down on a slip of paper on my desk, a reminder to use what's working.
What's working is this: I have spent years clamoring for time to work. I have woken early and worked while my family slept. I have sat at my desk most days during nap time. I have sneaked away in quiet moments to do a quick task. And you know what? Now both of my kids are in school every morning. All that time figuring out how to fit in work is making work easy. And it's giving me something new: spare time.
I'm hesitant to let this momentum get the best of me, though. I'm resisting the urge to make lists and plan every minute. I want that loose time; not more work, but more life. I want to settle into this season before adding anything new. So far it's working, but I need a constant reminder.
